Research: Genre: Typical Conventions of Music Videos

There are multiple conventions in music videos. Editing is most likely to be fast paced. Members of the band are usually shown but it tends to focus upon the lead singer using extreme close ups etc. Some music videos have extra's such as dancers or people used to occupy a role in a video but this is dependent usually on the genre. Videos are usually shot just in a studio due to costs but sometimes are shot in a single location.
